A passionate and lifelong advocate for Black business, CHAD RHODES is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience in real estate investing. He is currently partner at The Rhodes Cos, a boutique family real estate investment and management firm located in Metro Detroit. In addition, he is a senior associate at Summit Commercial LLC, a full-service landholdings brokerage specializing in Detroit-area office, retail and commercial real estate. A former partner at the Lamont-Rhodes Title Agency, LLC, Mr. Rhodes possesses extensive knowledge and experience in complicated “chain of title” transactions.
He is a graduate of University of Detroit Jesuit High School, and a Detroit Country Day School alum. Mr. Rhodes earned a dual B.S. in both Civil Engineering and Natural Science through the prestigious engineering program at Morehouse College and North Carolina A&T State University. An alumni of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Mr. Rhodes’ commitment to both Black empowerment and the Motor City’s rebirth is evidenced in his associations with various Metro Detroit organizations. He is an esteemed graduate of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit Class XXXV, and is a charter member of New Leaders Council Detroit. In addition, he is a member in good standing with Legacy Associates Foundation, the Lifting As We Climb Foundation, the Morehouse College Alumni Association, and more.
