In an increasingly tech-intensive world, internet entrepreneur BARTEL WELCH has cultivated a sterling reputation for helping clients navigate today’s confusing and fast-changing online universe. He is CEO of Red Diamond Digital, a one-stop multimedia consulting firm specializing in digital media, web design, graphics and print design. His STEM.org™-accredited organization CODE {313} teaches coding to youth ages 7 to 17. In his role as President of the Booker T. Washington Trade Association, Welch brings nearly 20 years of entrepreneurship and digital expertise to the Detroit chapter of the National Business League.
Completing his undergraduate work at Xavier University of Louisiana, Welch attended Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. A member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., he is currently studying under the dual Master’s program at Walsh College of Business. An honorable member of both the Cambridge and Detroit Business “Who’s Who” registries, Welch and his work has been profiled by FOX 2 News, Michigan Front Page, the Michigan Chronicle, Detroit Free Press, Rolling Out Magazine, and an array of other local and national media establishments. A proud graduate of Detroit Public Schools, his unabashed advocacy for the Motor City and its youth has made him one of the brightest stars in the Michigan business firmament.
